"Why are we led by a misled generation, left to drown in an ocean of apathy?"

Greetings,

In this post today, I will be highlighting a song by the band August Burns Red that is very relevant today.  In their album "Constellations", August Burns Red created an amazing song called "Ocean of Apathy."  What I admire in this song is its clarity of thought and simplicity of message.  Enjoy the lyrics below.

"Go... Everything looks the same. Its all so watered down. Where does our anchor lie? Where does our anchor lie? Yeah... There`s no identity in others insecurities. Were told everything will be alright. Hush up, sit tight while sold a science and proved whats impossible... whats impossible. Hush up, sit tight while sold a science and proved whats impossible. Hold up. Hold on. Lets go. It might really hurt this time. Hold up. Hold on. Lets go. It might really hurt this time. Hold on.... Hold up. Hold on. Lets go. It might really hurt this time. Lets go. Why are we led by a misled generation? Everything true and complete is cut out... Everything true and complete is cut out, and swept under the floor boards, left to drown... left to drown in an.... ocean... ocean... ocean... of apathy. We can fight the current, but we cant climb the waterfall... Why are we led by a misled generation, left to drown in an ocean... ocean... ocean... of apathy? Ocean... ocean... ocean... of apathy?"

1 Corinthians 15:32-34  - Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame."
