Greetings from Cordoba

Welcome all,

Sorry that I have not been able to keep everyone updated.  I have been through Valencia and Granada since my last post. It has been hard to continually keep the blog updated when I have been traveling by Spanish bus and train for the last couple days.  I will post my thoughts on Valencia, Granada and Cordoba (Day 2) on a later date.

Today, I spent my first day in Cordoba.  Cordoba used to be the Caliphate seat for the Moors in Spain and it has been an amazing experience.  Today, I saw the Cordoba Cathedral (which used to be a Mesquita), the Calahorra Towers and other older buildings within the old city of Cordoba.  It was interesting that by 8 pm, almost every shop in the Old Quarter was closing though the sky was not fully dark yet.  Anyways, I have ran into an Interesting Aussie, a man from Galicia, a couple from Florida and California, and a couple from Canada during my travels.  All has been going well and I hope to post an article about my time at the Cathedral of Cordoba soon.

Reminder:  Watch the Barca-Man U Game this saturday.  Visca Barca!!!!

  2. Thanks. The Cathedral in the photo is from Montserrat. I will be doing some posts just for photos. I also found a Spanish squirrel.
