Greetings from Madrid/Barcelona

Greetings to all.

I am now in a Renfe train that left this morning from Madrid to Barcelona.  As I type, I am passing some prime Spanish scenery, land which has probably battles of many kinds.  These past two days, I have been in Madrid with 3 friends.  We have been traveling in Spain since May 18.  We have hit many cities: Barcelona, Tortosa, Valencia, Granada, Cordoba, Salamanca and Madrid.  We have taken multiple metro systems, trains, buses and have walked a fair bit of miles. Our past 2 days in Madrid have allowed us to see many sites: Parque de Buen Retiro (including a boat ride in the lake within it),  Museo de Prado, Plaza de Sol (full of protestors), Palacio Real, Jardines Botanicos, Plaza Mayor, and other historic sites within the city.

My friends leave from BCN to Philadelphia in 2 days and I will returning to the States in less than a week myself.  Thanks for following and I will continue putting up more posts about music and books that I have bought in Spain (to the poor fate of my luggage).

Visca Barca!  Mes que un Club!
