5 Euros de Gelato y un Hotel con Internet Connection

Benvenidos de Espana,

Welcome everyone, I finally have found an internet connection offered by our hotel in Tortosa.

As anyone who has been following my blog knows, I have been in Spain since May 17.  I have spent the past 4 days traveling around the city of Barcelona and have enjoyed walking around the sites within the best city of the world (in my humble opinion).  We`ve been traveling around like madmen, running up steps, walking through the metro, carrying our luggage for 30 minutes through the busy Sunday morning Barcelona metro, picking the wrong train and then waiting for an hour to get a corresponding train, getting off the train in Tortosa (with a stop in Tarragona) and then walking through half the city to get to our hotel.  The sites we have hit (within BCN) are Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, La Pedrera, Las Ramblas, Montjuich, Montserrat, Barceloneta (la playa), Cuitat Vella, Gracia, and Mont Tdbibado.

Today, we arrived in Tortosa and saw a multiple sites within the city, though the city was closed due to it being Sunday afternoon.  We saw the Catedral de Tortosa, Palace de San Joan and the Cuitat Vella (Old City).  We then had Doners and enjoyed Gelatos at a local shop.  We will prepare to leave tomorrow for Valencia and then head off to Granada.

Trip highlights so far: Seeing a Dog get frisky with a kid`s leg, walking around the Cuittat Vella de Barcelona to find dinner at 8 pm, and then counting the number of obvious tourists within the city of Barcelona.

Now, we are in Tortosa and are preparing to leave for Valencia tomorrow.  I will give more updates once we are in Valencia and will post photos later on this site.

Visca Barca!!!
