The Olive Branch Petition: Historical Links

 

In the classroom, teaching any subject is easier if you can entice students.  In my history 8 classroom, I am currently going over the era in American history between the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War.  During this period, the Olive Branch Petition was the last bastion of friendship offered to the Crown before the start of the Revolutionary War.  In my post today, I will be highlight two important links about this important document in American History.
