Highlights of Madrid: Iglesia de San Manuel y San Benito (Part 1)

Greetings,

In this post, I will be continuing my series highlighting the sites that I saw in Spain this summer.  In Madrid, one of the impressive sight that I saw was the Iglesia de San Manuel y San Benito.  This church, which is located near the Parque de Buen Retiro, was constructed in the early 20th century.  Built for the use of the Augustinians, this church utilizes a Greek cross design and a grand dome which houses 4 amazing portraits of the 4 Evangelists.

Please enjoy the photos below of this amazing church in Madrid.
