Highlights of Tortosa: General Sites

Greetings to all,

I am finally done with my Barcelona photos, at least for now.  In this post, I will start a new series.  This series will feature photos from the city of Tortosa.  This is near the town of Tarragona, a historic town with Roman origins south of Barcelona.  Tortosa was conquered by the Moors in the 8th century and was later reconquered by Ramon Berenguer IV of Barcelona, the founder of the Crown of Aragon.  Within this city, its most important sites are the Cathedral of Tortosa, Castle of San Juan, and the Convent of Santa Clara.  Enjoy the photos below.
