Greetings to all,
During my travel to Spain, I was able to witness two extraordinary movements within Spain`s society. Some of these movements were the 15M movement and the "Acompada" (Camping) movement. Within Spain, there is a lot of disillusionment within the youth of Spain. With a high rate of unemployment (especially among youth) and a an economy that is on the ropes like Greece, the "Acompada" and 15M movements capitalized upon this sentiment of disapproval with the current political system in Spain. Going for a "Spanish Revolution", there was an attempt by the adherents of this cause to take all the public plazas in Spain as their broadcasting station and set up tents, signs and information centers where interested followers could be involved both in person and online. This angst was only heightened by the gubernatorial elections in which the Partido Popular won a majority of the regions of Spain (the more Conservative party in Spain). Most of the people protesting saw the elections as a reason for a renewal of"Democracy" within Spain. The signs showed below are from the protesting in Valencia.
